Select producers from the Scenic Rim visited = Breakfast Creek Lifestyle Precinct with Farm Gate to City Door markets, on Saturday 10th September. Favourites included Scenic Rim Brewery, Towri Sheep Cheeses, Tommerup’s Dairy Farm and Valley Pride Produce.
Bringing the best of country living into the city, visitors were able to sample locally grown farm fresh fruit and vegetables, artisan dairy products including a variety of delicious cheeses made with local milk, fresh cream and ice cream, refreshing craft beer, old-fashion honey straight from the hive, boutique spirits, delightful handmade bath and body products or take home some seedlings to start their own country garden. There’s was a stall to help visitors plan a perfect weekend getaway to the Scenic Rim!
Market goer’s could grab a coffee at Mica Brasserie and enjoy a relaxing family morning in the sunshine on the promenade discovering the best of what the Scenic Rim has to offer to the sounds of live music and or make a day of it and hire an eco-friendly GoBoat, moored at Breakfast Creek Lifestyle Precinct.
